Meet Slushie!
Life is looking a whole lot sweeter for this little guy. Slushie is an adorable 8-week-old hound mix who came to us from one of our incredible rural shelter partners after he and his three siblings were found as strays. Like so many puppies born into the shelter system, they didn't ask for the start they were given—but thanks to a wonderful foster home, Slushie is finally getting to experience what being a puppy should be all about. As part of our Summer Treats Litter, Slushie is every bit as sweet as his name suggests. He is a happy, playful little boy who loves exploring, romping around with his siblings, collecting toys, and then curling up for a well-earned nap. He has the sweetest personality and is always ready to hand out puppy kisses or soak up all the cuddles he can get. Everywhere he goes, his little tail seems to be wagging, and he has a way of making everyone around him smile. While he may have had a rough start to life, you would never know it. Slushie has embraced every bit of love that's come his way, and now he's hoping the next stop on his journey is a forever home filled with adventures, cozy naps, belly rubs, and a family to call his own. At just 8 weeks old, Slushie has his whole life ahead of him. He'll need a family that's ready for all the fun (and occasional mischief!) that comes with raising a puppy, but we promise the reward is worth every moment.
