Tyson

Tyson is a resilient survivor with a heart full of hope, ready to embrace a life filled with love and freedom. He endured immense cruelty and neglect, abandoned and left for dead. Despite his difficult past, Tyson's spirit remained unbroken. Rescuers found him severely malnourished with skin and eye issues, a compromised immune system, and heartworms. Today, he's a transformed dog, healthy, healing, and experiencing joy for the first time. He cherishes running freely and kind touches, learning to trust and play. Tyson is crate-trained, shows no food aggression, and thrives in a structured and compassionate environment.

Ideal Home

Tyson would thrive in an active home that offers regular walks or runs, or a large yard where he can enjoy his newfound freedom. He gets along well with other dogs, particularly females, and would do best in a patient, loving home with older children or teenagers who can continue his journey of trust and discovery.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has been treated for heartworms, skin conditions, and eye issues. He is currently healthy and recovering well.

Training & Support

Tyson has learned to walk calmly on a leash with a head halter, sit, and stay. He also knows how to play appropriately with other dogs. He is crate-trained and does not exhibit food aggression. He responds well to structured training and compassionate guidance.

Transportation

Tyson is currently being fostered by his trainer in Conroe, Texas. Out-of-state transport can be arranged.
