Meet Knight!

Knight is a handsome 50-pound Aussie mix with stunning mismatched eyes and a heart full of resilience. He's a tripod, but that doesn't slow him down one bit! He's a sweet soul who loves to play and enjoy life. While he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men, he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He's sensitive about his head and neck being touched initially, so his new family will need patience as he builds trust. Once he's comfortable, he's incredibly friendly and loves being with his people. Shelter stress has made it a bit hard for him to show his true personality, but we see glimpses of his playful and active mind. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and shows interest in playing, though he can be a bit hesitant. We believe he'd do well with a gentle, respectful canine companion who can offer friendship and confidence.

Ideal Home

Knight would thrive in a home with a physically fenced yard for safe movement and a one-level living space to make things easier on his body. He needs a patient family willing to give him time to settle in and build trust. Older, respectful children and a gentle dog companion would be a great bonus.

Knight can be sensitive about his head and neck being touched at first, requiring patience as he builds trust. He needs daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep his body and mind happy. He's a smart boy who enjoys having things to do and thrives with outlets for play and enrichment.
