Meet Rogue: The Cuddly & Smart Companion

Rogue is a soulful 3-year-old Rottweiler who has been through a lot of big life changes, but he hasn’t let that dampen his sweet spirit. He and his sister, Raven, came to us after their world was turned upside down, yet he remains a gentle, loving boy who is simply looking for a stable place to call home. Rogue is very cuddly and is a total people-dog. He is a good listener and, unlike many dogs his age, he already knows his basic commands. He is housebroken, crate trained, and shows absolutely no food aggression. He’s adjusted well to his new life and never misses a meal! Rogue is always ready for a car ride! While he loves to go along for the trip, he can be a bit of a "backseat driver"—he will bark at other cars as they pass by, so he’ll need a patient driver who doesn’t mind a little noise. When it comes to walks, he starts with some excited pulling, but once he calms down, he does much better on the lead.

Ideal Home

A nice, good home where he can stay forever and never have to worry about moving again. He would do best in a home without cats or small dogs, and with children 10+.

Ongoing Health

Rogue is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Rogue knows his basic commands, is housebroken, and crate trained. He will need a patient driver to help with his backseat driving in the car and some gentle guidance on leash pulling during walks.

Transportation

Rogue is currently in North Carolina. We are able to transport him to approved adopters within a 500-mile radius.
