Ethel Mutts, born in late December 2025, is a lovely Leading Lady rescued from a harsh breeding environment. After spending her first weeks thriving in a medical foster home, she is now healthy, strong, and fully vetted, ready to make her star debut! Ethel is a small package with a massive personality and serious athleticism. Don't let her size fool you – this little girl recently cleared a three-foot gate, so she will definitely need a secure yard with a tall fence! While a little shy at first, she blossoms quickly into a spirited, playful pup. She is wonderfully dog-friendly, loves romping with other dogs, and has a fun habit of trying to catch flies. When playtime wraps, Ethel is a professional snuggler who loves nothing more than a good puppy pile or curling up right against your side. She is also a star student, doing wonderfully with leash training, potty training, and learning her basic commands. Ethel has shown a lot of curiosity about the neighborhood cats; because of that interest, we aren't completely sure how she'd do living with kitties, though she could potentially be okay with proper introductions. Like her mother, Ethel's rescue marked the end of a cycle; she will never be used for profit.
Ideal Home
A home with a secure yard and a tall fence is a must due to her athleticism. While Ethel is dog-friendly, her interest in cats means she might need careful introductions or a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Ethel is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and her spay is included in her adoption fee. All dogs in our care are kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Ethel is a star student who is doing wonderfully with leash training, potty training, and learning basic commands.
