About Peanut

Meet Peanut, a handsome 4-year-old Shepherd/Chow mix with the most soulful brown eyes. This 102-pound boy has a stunning golden-brown coat with a rich reddish glow and incredibly soft fur. Peanut is a "work in progress" and is looking for a family who sees his potential. He's currently a bit overweight, but with a consistent routine of walks, structured playtime, portion control, and lots of encouragement, he's sure to get back to his best self. He’s semi-active and enjoys playing with friends, especially short bursts of fetch. With consistency and support, his stamina will grow along with his confidence. Peanut needs a family committed to an active, healthy lifestyle who can help bring back his spark. He’s a sweet, gentle soul who just needs a little help getting out of his funk. With structure, patience, and a commitment to wellness, he’s going to blossom into the happiest, healthiest version of himself.
