RANGER

Ranger is a petite pup who has so much love to give. This 1-year, 7-month-old neutered male is a 14 lb short-haired Chihuahua mix with a beautiful cream-colored coat, small enough to fit perfectly in your lap. He arrived at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as an owner surrender, coming with Homali. Ranger is incredibly gentle and sweet with people, possessing a quiet, calm demeanor and a sensitive personality. While he shakes in the kennel environment, he becomes more comfortable once he's outside. He enjoys spending time with handlers and responds well to gentle reassurance. Ranger is a young dog with lots of love to give. He may feel a little overwhelmed by shelter life, but every day he shows that he's ready to trust again. Once he's out of the kennel and with someone who makes him feel safe, his sweet personality begins to shine. He's searching for a family who will help him leave the uncertainty behind and discover just how wonderful life can be.
