Abigail is a sweet, shy girl who blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion once she feels safe and comfortable. She's believed to be a Heeler/Pit mix, weighing just under 50 lbs, and forms strong bonds with her people, especially enjoying good back scratches and one-on-one interaction. Around the shelter, Abigail loves to play with toys, enjoys a game of tug, and is a pro at fetch – she'll even entertain herself by tossing toys! She also has a fun-loving, outdoorsy spirit and is always ready for an adventure, particularly if it involves water, puddles, and exploring new places. Abigail walks well on leash and would be a fantastic adventure buddy for someone who enjoys discovering new sights.

Ideal Home

Abigail will do best in a home that can provide regular walks, enrichment activities like puzzle toys, and plenty of interactive play to keep her physically and mentally stimulated. She needs to be the only pet in the home.
