My name means sweetheart, and while I might be a little shy at first, I promise theres a whole lot of love waiting inside me.
Not too long ago, I was trying to survive on the streets all by myself. Thankfully, kind people stepped in and showed me that life can be filled with warm beds, full bellies, and gentle hands.
Im still learning that the world is a safe place, so I can be a little timid when I meet new people or find myself in unfamiliar situations. I may not be the type to run right up and introduce myself, but if you give me a little patience and understanding, Ill show you just how sweet I truly am.
Every day, Im becoming a little braver and a little more confident. My favorite people are the ones who let me move at my own pace and celebrate the little victories with me. Watching me blossom is pretty special, if I do say so myself.
Im looking for a family who will see past my shy beginnings and recognize the loving companion Im becoming. Someone willing to show me kindness, help me build confidence, and remind me that I never have to face the world alone again.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
*All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
