Teddy

Meet Teddy, a 7-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a soft heart and sweet soul. He knows his basics like sit, shake, and down, and once he feels comfortable, he transforms into a loose, wiggly, and affectionate companion. In his previous home, Teddy was described as a total love bug who enjoyed cuddling all day. With the right environment, Teddy is ready to be someone’s loyal, gentle best friend.

Ideal Home

Teddy can be shy and overwhelmed in loud or busy environments, especially around barking dogs. He does best with slow introductions and would thrive in a quiet, patient home. Previous notes mention fearfulness with unfamiliar men, so meet-and-greets are required for all household members. Due to past challenges with other dogs, he may do best as the only pet, and an adult-only home may be ideal.

Teddy is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Teddy knows his basic commands: sit, shake, and down. He can be shy and overwhelmed in new or loud situations, so patience and calm environments will help him gain confidence.
