Meet Oakley! He's a handsome Terrier/Pitbull mix weighing in at 68lbs, with an estimated birthday of December 16, 2021. Oakley is the sweetest boy who will follow you around like he is your shadow. If you are in a room, you guessed it, Oakley will be too! His foster mom says he is really independent and very smart. He knows "sit" and "get on your bed." Walks are Oakley's favorite thing! Currently, he goes on 3 to 4 walks a day, and he is a pro at walking on a leash. He does know when on a walk, the term "slow down." Oakley tolerates other dogs, but would probably prefer to be in a home as the only dog. He does like to chase cats and squirrels. He loves to be by your side and cuddle up. It is very shocking how sweet Oakley is after what he has lived through so far in his life. This handsome boy was found as a stray in a bad neighborhood. He was emaciated, and his ear was nearly severed. If you are looking for a furry best friend and to give this pup a good life as he deserves, Oakley is waiting for you with the sweetest greetings and tail wags!

Oakley would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home, as he likes to chase cats and squirrels.

Transporation
Oakley is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state! We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
