TYSON

Tyson is a handsome and brawny 6-year-old Terrier mix who entered our care in October 2021 when his previous owner was incarcerated. He's an athletic fellow who truly enjoys his time outdoors. Tyson is strong and confident, so he'll need some good leash control to help him gain a little experience on walks. He's not overly energetic or demanding, but rather has a calm and independent spirit. Tyson is a nice guy with an even temperament, but he does need a little time to warm up to new people. He's neither outgoing nor introverted, but a casual observer who may take a few meetings before he truly shows you his feelings. He's a great guy, and the depth of his personality emerges gradually.

Ideal Home

Tyson would do best in a home where he has the space to be himself. He needs an owner who understands his need for time to adjust and is willing to give him that space.

Ongoing Health

Tyson is neutered, vaccinated, and has been dewormed. He is up-to-date on his monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Tyson is still working on his leash skills. He needs an owner who can provide consistent training and positive reinforcement.
