Meet Sleepy, a smart and curious 5-month-old Blue Heeler puppy who weighs around 16 pounds! Sleepy and his family were rescued and have been safely cared for, giving him a healthy start to life and now he's ready to find his forever home. He's a bright pup who loves to observe his surroundings before diving into play. Sleepy is energetic and loves to explore, chew on toys, and play games. As a breed with working dog instincts, he'll thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through training and puzzles. He gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable with children, men, and women. With continued positive guidance and socialization, Sleepy has the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion!
Ideal Home
We're looking for families who enjoy outdoor activities and have a home with a fenced backyard. An ideal home would also include individuals with an understanding of the needs of rescued animals and a willingness to provide education and patience. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, along with a high tolerance and patience for puppies who are not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Sleepy has completed his spay/neuter, DHPPI vaccine, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed. He has also tested negative for heartworm and received a health certificate.
Training & Support
Sleepy is not yet house-trained. He will require patience and consistent positive reinforcement to learn this. We believe he has great potential with proper guidance and socialization.
