Fred is a handsome 10-month-old Great Pyrenees pup with a big heart and an even bigger future! He and his sibling, Ethel, had a rough start, being found abandoned in a ditch. A kind Samaritan took them in, giving them care for three weeks, but her small yard meant she couldn't keep these growing pups. Now, Fred is looking for his forever family! He's going to be a substantial dog when fully grown, so a home prepared for a gentle giant is a must.

Ideal Home

Fred and Ethel have lived outdoors and are eager to learn the joys of indoor living, complete with TLC, a comfy bed, and regular meals. They are looking for a secure, above-ground fenced yard where they can safely roam and patrol. Families who understand and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed will be a perfect fit.

Ongoing Health

Fred is up-to-date on vaccinations. We are still learning about his house-training habits, and we will provide updates as we discover more.

Training & Support

As Fred is new to indoor living, we are working on his house-training. Understanding the Great Pyrenees breed is key to Fred's success. We encourage you to research their unique traits, which, while sharing some similarities with Goldens, also have distinct characteristics.
