Chief

Chief is a happy, sweet, people-loving boy who thinks every human is his new best friend! He has never lived in a home with a lot of structure, so he's still learning what it means to be a dog. He's incredibly smart and takes to training quickly. Chief loves a good chair or bench to hop up on, and he enjoys any spot where he can relax and bathe in the sun.

Ideal Home

Chief would do best in a home without small children. He'd be an amazing match for active teens who want a playful companion to train, run, and grow with. He has been attacked by male dogs in the past, so he prefers a female dog companion and has lived successfully with female dogs before. His natural prey drive prevents him from living with cats.

Ongoing Health

Chief has allergies, which are common in pitties. He'll need to stay on a prescription diet to keep him comfortable and healthy.

Training & Support

Chief is still learning what it means to be a dog due to not having a structured environment in the past. He is smart and picks up on training quickly. His new family should be prepared to maintain his diet and support any allergy-related care.
