Big Mama

Meet Big Mama! This affectionate, athletic, and adventure-loving 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix is ready to find her forever home. Big Mama was found abandoned and underweight, but she's now healthy and weighs around 60lbs. She's incredibly people-friendly and loves to cuddle, but don't be fooled by her calm indoor demeanor – when she's outdoors, she's a bundle of energy who loves to zoom around! Big Mama was a quick learner and is already potty and crate trained, knows 'sit' and 'shake', is smart, and walks well on a leash. She enjoys playing with other dogs and does best with medium to large male dogs, but she doesn't require a canine companion to be happy.

Ideal Home

Big Mama would do best in a home without young children due to her high energy level and occasional unawareness of her size. She would also do best in a home with only male dogs, as she can be assertive with female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Big Mama is currently healthy and has reached a good weight.

Training & Support

Big Mama is already potty and crate trained and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'shake'. She is smart and eager to please, making her a joy to train.
