Catfish is an 8+ year old, 69 lb sweetheart who was found as a stray. The scars on her body tell a story of a difficult past, and the shelter environment was initially overwhelming for her. She even ended up on the euthanasia list due to illness, but a wonderful foster stepped in and saved her just in the nick of time!

Catfish has an abundance of love to give, and she's learning to trust and receive affection. She can be a little too eager for cuddles, wanting to be as close as possible, not because she's pushy, but because kindness is still a new and wonderful experience for her. With a patient and loving hand, she's discovering that gentle affection can be calm and safe. She's dog-neutral and would do best with well-behaved canine companions who understand and respect her boundaries.
