Meet Rodger - Your Laid-Back, Loyal Co-Pilot

Rodger is a 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix with a whole lot of heart and a seriously easygoing attitude. He's the kind of dog who greets new people like old friends, plays well with other dogs, and is genuinely wonderful with kids - making him a great fit for busy households and social families alike.

At home, Rodger is calm and low-drama. He's potty trained, not destructive, and not demanding - when you head out for the day, he simply curls up and snoozes until you're back. He's been left alone for up to three hours with no issues at all.

He does great with most dogs and adores people of all ages. He can get a little overstimulated around large, rowdy puppies, so a household with calmer or similarly-sized dogs would be his happy place. He's not crate trained, but he doesn't need to be - he earns his freedom and uses it responsibly.

One small note: Rodger gets a little anxious in the car, so he'd love a patient adopter who'll help him build positive associations with road trips. A little practice and some good treats go a long way!
