Meet Lola, a loving and calm-hearted girl who is more than ready for a home of her own! Lola was found on the highway between La Cruz and Punta Mita in Mexico and bravely fought through ehrlichia and mange. After more than three years at the shelter, she truly deserves all the attention and a chance at family life. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a big heart, Lola is your girl!

Ideal Home

Lola would shine with an active person who loves adventures. She is best suited for teens or adults, as quick movements from small children can scare her.

Ongoing Health

Lola has recovered from ehrlichia and mange.

Training & Support

Lola can get stressed in the shelter and may guard toys. She walks okay on a leash but prefers attention over walking. She is good with other dogs but prefers to be the alpha.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can arrange for transportation with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
