Riggs

Riggs is a nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation. While he was cared for, there simply weren't enough resources for him to get the socialization he needed. Riggs is sweet, gentle, and shy, preferring a calm approach and time to observe his surroundings. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and would benefit from a canine companion in his new home to help build his confidence. He also needs a fenced yard for safety and to provide a quiet retreat from loud noises and commotion. Riggs would do best in a home with children over 10, as he's not a fan of loud or boisterous activity. He enjoys treats, doggy friends, gentle people, and a comfortable indoor temperature. Loud holidays like the Fourth of July are not his favorite. Riggs is looking for a laid-back home with a dog buddy, a fenced yard, and patient people who understand that shy dogs thrive with structure, kindness, and time.

Ideal Home

Riggs needs a home with a fenced yard and would do best with another friendly dog. He would prefer a home with children over 10 years old due to his shy nature. He does not do well with loud noises or commotion.
