Hazel

Hazel is a sweet senior girl who is ready to find the forever home she deserves. Gentle, loving, and full of quiet joy, Hazel is happiest when she’s spending time with her people — whether that’s lounging at home, enjoying a car ride, or taking a short stroll outdoors. Hazel has never met a stranger and greets everyone with kindness and an open heart. She’s great with other dogs, non-destructive in the home, and travels well in the car. Her favorite things include long naps, tasty treats, a good stick, and curling up in a comfy bed near her humans. Her foster family loves dressing her up, and we’re pretty sure Hazel enjoys the outfit changes just as much as the attention that comes with them.

Hazel is looking for a calm, loving home where she can spend her days being cherished — whether that’s relaxing at home or joining you for gentle adventures.

Ongoing Health

Like many seniors, Hazel does have arthritis, but it’s well managed and doesn’t slow her down much. Considering she was a stray just months ago, she’s in wonderful shape for her age and continues to surprise us with her resilience.
