Bella, a 8-year-old, ~5 lb Chihuahua, is a sweet girl looking for a special kind of home. She spent her first eight years as the cherished companion of an elderly owner who adored her, making her the absolute center of their world. Bella was more than just a pet; she was a constant comfort, a tiny presence that fit perfectly into the crook of an arm. When her beloved owner passed away, Bella's family, recognizing they couldn't replicate the profound devotion she had always known, made the difficult but loving decision to find her a new chapter that honors her past. Now, Bella is ready for a new beginning, and she's looking for a person to share her love with.
Ideal Home
Bella is seeking a calm environment where she can be the sole focus of her person's attention. A busy household or a home where she'd spend a lot of time alone wouldn't be ideal. She would thrive with someone who works from home and would appreciate a small shadow to keep them company, perhaps even in a dog sling for outings.
Ongoing Health
Bella is up-to-date on her vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. She has been spayed and microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. She is also current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Bella is still working on her house training, and will need some time and patience to adjust to a new schedule and surroundings. However, she has a lifetime of experience being loved and knows how to be a wonderful companion. With consistent guidance, she's ready to learn the new routines.
