Meet Ocean!
Ocean is a sweet, affectionate 4-year-old pittie mix who has overcome so much and is finally ready to find the loving home she deserves. When she first arrived, she was severely underweight and needed time, care, and plenty of nutritious meals to help her heal. She has made incredible progress and is now around 60lbs, with a little more weight to gain as she continues on her journey. Despite her difficult past, Ocean has shown everyone that she is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog. She absolutely adores her people and is happiest when she is leaning in for pets, soaking up belly rubs, and spending time with someone who loves her. Ocean is a big fan of mealtime and treats and will happily let you know when she thinks dinner is running behind schedule! As she has become more comfortable, her personality has continued to shine, and it has been wonderful watching her confidence grow. Ocean is looking for a family who will continue to show her patience, kindness, and love while she settles into the next chapter of her life. She has so much love to give and cannot wait to meet the family who will help her continue to blossom.
Ideal Home
Ocean would do best in a home that can provide her with a safe, loving environment where she can continue to thrive. She would do best with larger breed male dogs; dog introductions are required with any potential canine siblings. A home without cats is preferred. She would also do best with older children who are comfortable around larger, stronger dogs.
Ongoing Health
Ocean is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, blood tested, microchipped, flea treated & dewormed.
Training & Support
Ocean is still gaining confidence and would benefit from continued patience and kindness as she settles into her new home.
