Meet Twinkle! 🌟 This little lady is about to celebrate her first birthday on June 1st and currently weighs just under 5 pounds. She's a petite bundle of joy, and we believe she has some Chihuahua in her mix, though her exact breed is a mystery! Twinkle is bursting with playful puppy energy and loves to romp and play every day. When it's time to relax, she's a champion lap warmer and loves a good belly rub. You might even get a few sweet kisses! At night, she snuggles under the covers with her person, and during meal prep, she'll patiently sit and "beg" with her paws up – it's impossibly cute! Her fur is wonderfully soft and easy to care for, and the best part? She doesn't mind baths at all!
Ideal Home
Twinkle has enjoyed the company of other small dogs and would be happiest in a home with another playful, small canine companion. A securely fenced yard is a must for her zoomies and playtime. If you don't already have a dog, we'd love to help you find a pair! Due to her tiny size, we're looking for a home with children aged 8 and up, or a family with experience caring for small animals.
Ongoing Health
Twinkle is a healthy girl. She has received a wellness examination, microchip, heartworm test, necessary vaccinations (Distemper/Parvo & Rabies), and flea/tick preventative.
Training & Support
Twinkle is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved – she's very food motivated! She's about 90% housebroken and crate trained, and her foster is still helping her learn all her cues. Her foster works from home, so Twinkle is used to lots of interaction and playtime throughout the day. A similar home environment would be ideal for her to continue to thrive.
