Elsa

Meet Elsa — a 4-year-old, approximately 55-pound, female silver Labrador who is looking for a calm and patient foster home to help her feel safe and loved. Elsa is a bit shy and unsure in new environments, much like a character finding her footing in a new world. She needs a gentle approach and a quiet space to decompress. While she might seem reserved at first, with patience and understanding, her warm Labrador personality will shine through. She enjoys affection once she feels comfortable and safe.

Ideal Home

Elsa would thrive in a quiet, calm foster home where she can explore at her own pace. She would be fine with the presence of another adult dog. We don't know how she does with cats. Children who understand that building trust takes time would be a great fit for her.

Ongoing Health

Elsa appears healthy, with good ears and teeth. She is a bit underweight and is awaiting further medical information from the shelter. We do not know if she is spayed.

Training & Support

Elsa can be hesitant on leash and doesn't pull, but she is unsure about walking. She doesn't yet know how to "sit" for a treat. She was initially anxious about being touched but warmed up to affection. She doesn't show much interest in toys or balls.
