Rena McRuffy - Local Pup - likes kids and dogs

Meet Rena McRuffy, a sweet and shy 12-week-old Feist/Basenji mix who weighs about 9 pounds. She was born in Tennessee to a stray mom, and now she's ready to find her forever family. Rena is a little timid at first, but she's gaining confidence every day and loves to explore her world. She's a perfect mix of cuddly and playful, and she's eager to find her place with people who will be patient and loving as she blossoms. Rena is expected to be around 30 pounds when fully grown, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion for all sorts of adventures.

Ideal Home

Rena would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She's good with kids and loves to play with other dogs, so a home with a canine sibling and children would be wonderful. While she hasn't met cats or younger children yet, she's hopeful for introductions in her future.

Ongoing Health

Rena is up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed at the time of adoption.

Training & Support

Rena is making great progress with her potty training and sleeps through the night in her crate. As a puppy, she will need continued guidance with potty training, leash manners, basic commands, and crate training. Patience and understanding will be key as she builds trust. Professional training is recommended to help her become the best family member she can be.
