He was initially quite frightened and shut down, but with love and patience, his wonderful personality is starting to shine through! Speed loves exploring the play yard and following interesting scents, and he's also learned to voice his opinion when it comes to meal times – he'll definitely let you know if breakfast or dinner is a moment late! While he's still a bit shy about being picked up, he's gaining confidence daily. He truly thrives with canine companionship and would likely do best in a home with a confident dog friend who can help him continue to learn and grow. Speed is looking for an experienced adopter who understands that building confidence takes kindness, consistency, and time. With your understanding and gentle guidance, Speed's adorable and curious personality will continue to blossom, revealing the happy dog he's meant to be.
