Dax

Dax is a handsome, super-smart boy with a free spirit! We believe he may have spent much of his life outdoors, possibly as a farm dog, as he arrived quite matted and with ticks. While he initially seemed reactive to other dogs, Dax has proven to be a good friend in playgroup. He does have some issues with restraint, which is why we think he would be happiest as an only dog. Dax is incredibly focused during training sessions and has quickly learned basic commands. His favorite thing in the world is a pink squeaky ball, which he uses to self-soothe and manage stress. This brilliant and special dog has found a wonderful way to comfort himself!

Ideal Home

Dax would be happiest as an only dog. He will need an experienced person to help him work through his issues with restraint.

Ongoing Health

Dax is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dax is not house-trained. He is very smart and has picked up basic commands quickly. His connection with his pink squeaky ball is a great tool for stress management.
