Gunther

My name is Gunther, and I'm a warrior! I'm a sweet, older gentleman who has overcome quite a bit. When I first arrived, I was battling an upper-respiratory infection, a urinary tract infection, hookworms, heartworms, and had knee problems. I was so tired and underweight, but I fought my way back to health! Despite my tough start, I'm also a total goofball. My favorite things include lounging on the couch with my humans, taking naps, and, of course, food! I enjoy watching the little cats, though the bigger ones can still be a bit intimidating. Life is pretty good now, but I'm dreaming of having a person all to myself, someone I don't have to share with too many others. Could you be my person?

Ideal Home

Gunther would love a home where he can relax and be the center of attention. While he gets along with cats, he seems to think he'd prefer a home without too many other pets so he can have his own person.

Ongoing Health

Gunther has been through a lot but is now healthy and happy. He did have a previous history of an upper-respiratory infection, a urinary tract infection, hookworms, heartworms, and knee issues. He has been treated for all of these and is doing well.

Training & Support

Gunther is not house-trained. He's a food-motivated boy, which will be a great asset for any training you'd like to do with him!
