Looking for a 78-pound lap dog who has absolutely no idea he's 78 pounds? Meet Carbon! If love had four legs and a wagging tail, it would look a lot like Carbon. He has never met a stranger and believes every new person is simply a friend he hasn't showered with kisses yet. Carbon loves to lean against your legs, look up with warm honey-colored eyes, and request pets, head scratches, belly rubs, and affection. He melts into your arms the second you touch him and, despite his size, is convinced he's a lap dog, gently climbing into your lap for cuddles and hugs. He's incredibly gentle and makes every person feel special. Carbon is a husky/pitty mix with a soft, charcoal-black coat, majestic ears, and a sweet smile. He's thriving in a foster home, often accompanying his foster to work, where he quietly curls up under the desk. Carbon has a playful side, loving stuffed animals and romping with his foster siblings. He's also an A+ roommate with other dogs of all kinds, social, respectful, and easygoing, though he always prefers human attention. His compatibility with cats is still a mystery, but his gentle nature suggests he might do well with a confident feline friend.
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he'll have a family to call his own. A fenced yard would be nice for playtime, but the people inside the home are what matter most. He's not looking for perfection, just connection. He'll be happiest wherever you are, whether it's a house with a big backyard or a cozy apartment.
Ongoing Health
Carbon has no known ongoing health conditions.
