Simba

Simba is a gentle and handsome boy who arrived with the help of our wonderful partners at Dogs Playing for Life (DPFL) in Florida. His past has had its share of ups and downs; he was surrendered to a city shelter and found the shelter environment quite overwhelming. With the dedicated support of the DPFL team, he learned important skills to help him feel more at ease around new people.

Unfortunately, Simba was recently returned to us after enjoying three wonderful years in a home, which has left him feeling understandably scared and confused. We're committed to helping him rediscover the coping strategies he learned previously.

Simba truly shines when he's playing with other dogs – it's clear it brings him immense joy! With a patient and understanding approach, we believe he can once again feel safe and build trusting relationships. If you have a loving heart and a desire to provide stability, Simba might be the perfect companion for you.

Ideal Home

Simba thrives on canine companionship, so a home with other friendly dogs would be wonderful for him.

Simba is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Simba can be a bit nervous around new people, but he learned valuable coping strategies with previous support. He benefits greatly from playtime with other dogs to boost his confidence.
