Meet Arby, a delightful 6-month-old, 40-pound brindle pup affectionately known as "Arby-Rhubarby." Arby was rescued from the county shelter after waiting patiently for two months. His journey began with a special video created by volunteers, which led to his rescue and a new beginning. We believe Arby has Heeler and Bully breed traits, with a touch of Lab possibly mixed in, contributing to his friendly and easygoing nature. Arby is a true social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, including humans and other dogs. He quickly bonded with his foster family's canine companions and has shown to be an exceptional dog.
Arby enjoys playing with toys, splashing in the doggie pool, and making the most of every day. While he barks at farm cats, he doesn't seem to have any aggressive intentions, but we recommend a home without cats. He is a slow grower and is expected to reach around 50 pounds when fully grown. Arby is wonderfully submissive and good-natured. Like many Heelers, he enjoys herding his canine friends and may occasionally nip at their heels during play. He responds well to corrections from other dogs and is eager to learn appropriate boundaries.
Ideal Home
A home without cats is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Arby is fully vetted.
Training & Support
Arby is crate trained and house trained. He may occasionally nip at the heels of other dogs during play, but he responds well to corrections and is eager to learn.
