Oso - In Foster

Meet Oso! This handsome 2-year-old, 36 lb Chow Chow found himself without a home after being found running at large in downtown Rockwall. Now, he's ready to find his forever family and share his unique, loyal personality. Oso is a true Chow Chow, independent and observant, but he forms incredibly strong bonds with his chosen people. He might need a little time to warm up in new surroundings, but with calm and respectful introductions, he quickly blossoms into a devoted companion. He gets along well with other dogs if introductions are handled slowly, and he's also great with people who give him the space he needs to settle in.

Ideal Home

Oso thrives in a calm and predictable environment, making him a wonderful fit for a home with older teens or adults. He enjoys being near his people and will be a loyal, steady companion once he feels comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Oso is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Oso is currently in a foster home and has adapted well to a home environment. We believe with continued patience and positive reinforcement, he will continue to thrive.
