Zeus

Hi there! I'm Zeus, a 4-year-old, 58-pound bundle of love! I'm a smart, loyal, and friendly German Shepherd/Boxer mix who believes the best place in the world is snuggled up close to my humans. If you've got a plushy toy (squeaky ones are my favorite!), a comfy bed, and a warm lap, I'm practically the happiest guy you'll ever meet. I do have a bit of a chase instinct with cats, but I'm working on it! When meeting new dogs, I prefer slow introductions to get comfortable, but once I do, I'm a great pal. In fact, I get along swimmingly with my foster siblings, Lucky Lady and the tiny pitties Donald and Daisy. I've got plenty of energy for zooming around the yard and playing with my toys. I'm also learning to be a better leash walker, and treats and back scratches are excellent motivators!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can get plenty of snuggles and playtime. While I'm working on my cat-chasing instincts, a home without cats might be best, or a household that can provide careful management and slow introductions.

Ongoing Health

I'm fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, so I'm all set to go!

Training & Support

I'm housebroken and eager to please! I'm learning to walk better on a leash, and with positive reinforcement like treats and praise, I know I'll master it quickly.
