Duncan

Duncan just wants to make you cuddle and hug him all the time! He has an aura of calm, grounded energy that will soothe your soul. For the most part, he’s a mellow, loving dog who adores hugs and will ask for an occasional belly rub. Duncan is a dog that just wants to hang out with you, and you’ll find yourself wanting to hang out with him too. He’s comforting and chill, but can also be active, fun, and playfully engaging when prompted, always maintaining a good energy level. He's good on a leash, though he can pull when on a mission. Even with his stout build, he's mindful and jumps up to give hugs without putting pressure on you. This wonderful dog’s beginning with us is tragic and confusing, as he was dumped in the Victorville desert along with a terrier partner. We've had some limited dog-to-dog exposure, and he has displayed a good demeanor. As he is not yet neutered, we are limiting his interactions with other dogs for now, but we can tell he seems dog-friendly.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of one-on-one attention and cuddle time.

Duncan has a portion of his stray hold to carry out with us. He is not yet neutered.

Training & Support

Duncan is crate trained and may be house-trained. He can pull on the leash when on a mission.
