Trooper

Meet Trooper! This handsome fellow is 2.5 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. Trooper is the epitome of a quiet companion, content to follow you from room to room, nap nearby, and generally make your days brighter just by his presence. He's a remarkably smart dog who is already housebroken and kennel trained. Plus, he doesn't shed and knows commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." Trooper walks beautifully on a leash, is a calm car rider, and is happiest when he's with his favorite person. He has a gentle and tender heart, responding wonderfully to kindness, encouragement, and consistency. Trooper isn't a loud or demanding dog; he simply desires to feel safe and be with his family.

Ideal Home

Trooper would love a home where he can be a true companion. He experiences some separation anxiety and will thrive with someone who is home more often than not, rather than being left alone for long periods.

Trooper is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Trooper is housebroken and kennel trained, and he listens exceptionally well. He has done well with other dogs and ignores barking dogs on walks.

Transportation

Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He is an "out of town pet" and can be brought closer to you via our rescue transport service, which travels through various areas once a month. The adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate. Transport is an additional $260. Once your application is approved, we can arrange a FaceTime session to introduce you to Trooper. Our transport service utilizes dedicated vans with experienced drivers who will keep you updated in real-time on your dog's journey.
