Brownie

Hi there! My name is Brownie, and I am a 2-year-old, 20-lb Miniature Poodle. I was recently pulled from a shelter and am now in a foster home in Ansonia, CT, eagerly awaiting my forever family. I'm vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and I'm feeling healthy, happy, and ready for my next adventure!

I'm a smart, loyal boy who loves to bond deeply with my humans. I do need a little time and patience to build trust, but once I do, you'll have a devoted companion. When I get overstimulated or excited, I can get a bit mouthy, but I respond beautifully to structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. With your patience, I'll continue to make great progress. In return for your understanding, I'll offer true devotion, companionship, and my sweet, sensitive poodle nature. Once I feel safe, I absolutely love pets, holding hands, and snuggling up beside you – I'm a real velcro poodle!

Ideal Home

I would do best in a calm, adult-only home. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be calm and not overly boisterous.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy and have all my vaccinations, and I've been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

I can get a little mouthy when overstimulated or excited, but I respond well to structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. I am housebroken and do not need to be crated while you are away.
