Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a 4-year-old husky weighing 45 lbs, who is sure to steal your heart! Lucy is an incredibly smart and devoted companion with a personality as big as her beautiful blue eyes. She was surrendered due to a skin condition that has since healed beautifully, and she's now thriving with a healthy diet and lots of love. Her foster family describes her as the smartest husky they've ever fostered, a true "love bug" who is deeply attached to her pack. Lucy is eager to please and has already shown remarkable progress in obedience training, thanks to her treat-motivated nature.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives in a structured routine with plenty of exercise, including two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute play session daily. She would do best in a home where someone works from home or with other dogs to keep her company. Lucy is great with other dogs and has shown positive initial introductions to cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is fully healed and she is doing wonderfully. She is on a healthy diet and enjoys fresh snacks. She is microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and is eager to continue her training. She is house-trained and does not bark at visitors. While she can be vocal when excited about food, she is polite and well-behaved. She is devoted to her people and enjoys learning new things.
