Merica

Merica is a young, affectionate, and completely deaf sweetheart with a heart of gold! She showed up out of nowhere and immediately found a volunteer, showing her innate ability to connect with good people. Since no one has claimed her, she's now ready to find her own happily-ever-after. She walks beautifully on a leash and would love a canine companion to help show her the ropes. She's already winning over friends, is great in her crate, loves walks and car rides, and is learning the daily routine quickly.

Merica is deaf, but she hears with her heart and is learning hand signals quickly.

Training & Support

Our team is teaching Merica hand signals, which she is picking up in no time! She's great in the crate and learning the daily routine. A gentle morning wake-up call, like a soft brush on her back feet, works best for her.
