Pinto Bean

Pinto Bean, affectionately called Pinto, is a 2-year-old, 45-pound female American Foxhound with a tri-color coat. She is a resilient survivor who adores other dogs and needs a patient, experienced home where she can decompress and build confidence at her own pace.

Ideal Home

Pinto is very shy and often shuts down when she feels uncomfortable. She is not reactive and has no fear aggression, but she remains nervous around handling, children, and people in general. She must go to a home with other dogs, as canine companionship helps her feel safe. She is cat-friendly but scared of cats.

Ongoing Health

Pinto’s vaccines are up to date, and she is spayed. She is heartworm-positive and receiving treatment; CCRT covers the cost of treatment until she tests negative.
