Pinto Bean

Pinto Bean is a approximately 2-year-old, 45-pound, tri-color foxhound mix with a survivor's spirit! She was a stray that animal control had trouble trapping for months until we stepped in. Pinto is very shy and shutdown, but she's a pro at handling and even does "alligator rolls" on leash! She's not reactive, but she does shut down when feeling overwhelmed. Pinto absolutely adores other dogs and enjoys the freedom of our play yards at CCRT. She's looking for a very patient and educated home to help her decompress and socialize at her own pace.

Ideal Home

Pinto needs a home with other dogs to help her feel more comfortable and confident. She is nervous around children and people in general, so a quieter environment would be best.

Ongoing Health

Pinto Bean is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and CCRT covers the cost of her treatment until she tests negative. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has been altered.

Training & Support

Pinto is crate trained and house-training status is unknown. She is still learning to be comfortable with handling and leash walks. Her new family will need to provide a patient and understanding environment for her to decompress and socialize.
