Bangles is about 3.5 years old and around 40 pounds, with a calm, observant nature and a deep loyalty to his people. He forms strong, meaningful bonds and is happiest when he knows exactly who his person is. In his current home, Bangles is incredibly loving and affectionate, especially with the children he knows and trusts. He truly adores his kids. However, that same strong loyalty and protective instinct makes it difficult for him to feel comfortable around unfamiliar children, which is why we are safely looking to place him in an adult-only home where he can fully relax and be successful. Day to day, Bangles is easy to live with. He enjoys his walks, settles nicely at home, and loves being close to his person. You can picture him following you from room to room, laying nearby, and quietly keeping you company. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash, making him a very manageable and steady companion. While he is currently living as an only dog, Bangles has done well with other dogs in the past. With the right match, he could live with a calm, easygoing female dog and slow introductions, though he would be just as happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only. Bangles isn’t complicated — he just needs the right environment. Give him a calm home and someone to call his own, and he will give you everything he has. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t belong to everyone… but for the right person, he’ll be everything. Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Bangles is currently being fostered in Massachusetts and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue. Transports depart regularly.
