Meet Angus: Your Future Gentle (and Slightly Chaotic) Giant!

Angus is a 6-month-old, 60+ lb Bullmastiff mix with a heart full of love and a body full of clumsy puppy energy. He was found wandering near a creek and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Now fully vetted and ready for his next adventure, Angus is looking for a family to cherish his goofy charm. He's a big toddler in a giant body, always eager to explore the world with his mouth and his boundless enthusiasm for play.

Ideal Home

Angus would thrive in an active household with older children who can keep up with his playful energy. A well-fenced yard is a must for him to safely explore and expend some of that puppy exuberance. He's too energetic for feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Angus is healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. He has been neutered, is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations (including Rabies and Bordetella), is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives.

Training & Support

Angus is learning to walk on a leash, though he currently sees it as a fun chew toy! Expect some charming chaos on your walks as he continues his training. He is doggie-door trained but may need a little patience to be fully housebroken in a new environment. He loves car rides but needs a harness or crate restraint to prevent him from being a co-pilot disruptor!
