Baloo's life is a testament to resilience. From surviving the streets of Oklahoma to overcoming parvo, this incredible boy has emerged stronger. Now, he's thriving with 3 dogs, demonstrating his adaptability. As a smart and sometimes stubborn Great Pyrenees mix, Baloo is learning commands and growing. He adores outdoor activities, from playful adventures to relaxing in the grass. This sweet boy gives heartwarming kisses, walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Baloo awaits a patient and loving family to support him through his training. He is a 1-2 year old, 50 lb male who is deaf but has mastered "sit," "no," "potty," "come," and "lay down," and is working on "stay."

Ideal Home

Baloo would be happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard, though it's not strictly required. He gets along well with dogs his size or larger, but he is not a good fit for homes with cats. He is also best suited for homes with children aged 9 or 10 and older.

Ongoing Health

Baloo is deaf, which is an important consideration for his care. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Baloo is potty trained and does not like crates. While he is learning commands, he can be stubborn at times, so a patient and consistent leader is important for his success. A playmate could also make him very happy, though it's not required.
