Holly The Best Family Dog

Holly could happily tell you her job title is Professional Toy Collector, Zoomie Specialist, and Booty-Scratch Enthusiast! She'd also add "foodie" to the list, and we couldn't agree more. Holly is pure sunshine with a bunny hop, a toy lover, and a giggle generator. She has the kind of happy energy that makes every day better, and everyone around her smile.

Holly is estimated to be just shy of 4 years old and weighs around 60 lbs. She's likely a pittie/staffie mix, evident in her adorable, snuggle-ready barrel body. Holly is all-in and always a good time! She's wiggly, affectionate, and truly lights up for people, with a smart side to boot. She already knows "sit" and "come," and even "drop it" – impressive for a dog who believes toys are a lifestyle!

Ideal Home

Holly would thrive in a family environment, and she's already doing wonderfully with children ages 3, 5, 12, and 14 in her foster home. She also shows incredible patience and acceptance towards a 17-year-old with special needs, offering kisses and calm companionship. Holly is welcoming to visitors and does not bark when people enter the home, settling quickly and continuing her day. She's a great fit for families with children, retired couples with visiting grandkids, young couples planning for the future, social households with visitors, or anyone looking for a steady, affectionate companion.

Ongoing Health

Holly has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Holly has a solid head start on basic commands like "sit" and "come," and she knows "drop it." She has good leash manners and is a sturdy walker, respecting her handler when expectations are clear. Holly is crate trained and goes into her crate when asked. Her foster home has a well-behaved small male terrier mix and an older, more dominant female dog, and Holly is social and confident with other dogs, mindful and respectful of their space. She would also enjoy a playful canine friend who can match her enthusiastic play style.

Transportation

Holly is located in Texas and can be transported across the US on our USDA licensed vehicles. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada.
