Maia

Maia is a sweet female German Shepherd Dog who is an adult. She joined the rescue with her seven puppies and waited to finish heartworm treatment before she could find her forever family. Maia loves to be petted and is always looking for a good ear scratch. She is also great at keeping squirrels out of the yard and likes to be on patrol in case they get close. Maia has lived outside all her life until joining the rescue and is really enjoying the comforts of indoor living.

Ideal Home

Maia would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of affection and ear scratches. She also enjoys being on patrol, so a yard where she can keep an eye out for squirrels would be a plus!

Ongoing Health

Maia has completed her heartworm treatment. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

As Maia has lived outside for most of her life, she is still adjusting to indoor living and the joys of air conditioning. She is generally good with other dogs but has shown no interest in cats.
