Anastasia

Anastasia is a 3-year-old female Great Pyrenees mix with a heart full of love to give. She's a survivor, having overcome a traumatic barn fire that left her with physical and emotional scars. Despite her past, Anastasia's gentle and forgiving spirit shines through. She's a social and friendly girl who enjoys meeting new people and is always up for a good belly rub.

Ideal Home

Anastasia is looking for a patient and understanding family who can provide her with consistency and reassurance as she continues to adjust to life as a house dog. She has lived in a barn setting previously and is still learning.

Ongoing Health

Anastasia has some kidney concerns and is currently thriving on a hydrolyzed protein diet. With this dietary change, she has begun to gain healthy weight and is feeling much better. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. If over 6 months, they are also heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Anastasia is crate-trained, great in the car, and doing well on leash. She is social and friendly with new people.

• We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out.

We adopt within a 2-hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
