Meet Coffee, a charming 2-year-old, 40-pound Australian Shepherd mix whose smile is as big as her heart. After a period as a stray and successfully raising her puppies, Coffee is now ready to embark on her own journey to find a loving forever family. She's an incredibly affectionate girl who thrives on companionship, whether it's enjoying belly rubs, snuggling up on the couch, exploring on walks, or engaging in playful antics with her doggy pals.
Ideal Home
Coffee would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation, befitting her Australian Shepherd heritage. She's also a social butterfly who adores other dogs and would be happiest with a playful canine sibling to share her adventures. Because she experiences some separation anxiety, her ideal home would be with someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is generally home more often than not. While she's generally great with kids, her excitement can sometimes lead to jumping, so a home with older children who can handle an enthusiastic greeting would be best. Coffee would do best in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Coffee is a healthy young dog who has been spayed and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Coffee is making great progress with potty training and is also doing well with crate training. She walks nicely on leash and is eager to please her humans. While she's working on keeping all four paws on the ground when excited, with continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance, she'll master this quickly.
