Bosco

Bosco didn't get the memo that he was supposed to be mean - that is why he is needing a home. He was not considered "aggressive enough" to be a guard dog, so his current home doesn't want him. He is a sweet, affectionate, social, playful, and generally calm dog. However, when he gets excited, his enthusiasm is contagious and hard to stop! He is a loyal companion with a big heart and lots of affection to give.

Ideal Home

Bosco would thrive in a loving home where he receives plenty of attention, affection, and cuddles. He truly enjoys being close to his people. He can be very playful and energetic, especially around children.

Ongoing Health

Bosco had parvovirus when he was 6 months old but made a full recovery and is currently healthy. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been dewormed. Bravecto flea and tick prevention was administered on April 23, 2026. He is neutered.

Training & Support

Bosco knows basic commands such as sit, come, wait, and taking treats gently. He is house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He walks on a leash but may pull occasionally when excited. He gets very excited and has trouble sitting still in the car. Once Bosco gets hold of a ball, he doesn't like giving it back and can be protective of it. He can stay home alone for several hours and usually naps, relaxes, or enjoys sunbathing.

Transporation

Bosco is currently living in a home environment in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He is ready for adoption and travel.
