Vaquero is a puppy at heart, always ready for adventure and approaching each day with infectious enthusiasm. His former owner reported that Vaquero is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and has even had some obedience training. However, Vaquero has a knack for escaping, reportedly getting over a 5-foot fence and learning to open gates. Future adopters will need to provide secure containment and supervision for this determined explorer.

When not planning his next adventure, Vaquero loves to chase balls, play with stuffed toys, and invites every dog he meets to a wrestling match. He has been friendly with other dogs and enjoys spirited play, so a canine friend who appreciates his energetic style would be a great fit.
