Koda

Koda is a sweet 2-year-old Doodle who loves attention, socializing, and snacks! He has a curious nature and can often be found sticking his long nose into everything. Koda has lived with children and enjoys the company of other dogs. His previous owner surrendered him due to health issues.

Ideal Home

Koda would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of attention and opportunities to socialize.

Ongoing Health

Koda has some inflammation in both of his eyes and is currently on medication. It's uncertain if this condition will fully resolve or if he will always have a "silly sloth-like look" due to his third eyelids. He is also underweight; though he currently weighs 52 lbs, his ideal weight is closer to 65 lbs. He has been altered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Koda knows how to sit and walk on a leash, though he does pull a bit. Continued leash training would be beneficial.

Transportation

Koda is currently located in Orange County and can be transported within that area. Long-distance adoptions may be considered for dogs who have been with the rescue for an extended period with no local candidates, but please contact us before applying if you are not within a 2-hour drive.
